About Us

The reptile team

RSPCA Brighton & The Heart of Sussex Branch Reptile Rescue is the only dedicated reptile rescue within the RSPCA nationally and the only reptile rescue in the UK.

We take reptiles in need from all over the country – from animals rescued by the RSPCA ‘s inspectors, to stowaways from abroad as well as strays and neglected animals.

With over 100 reptiles in our care, our aim is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome into the best possible environments to meet their needs.

We quarantine, fecal sample and vet check all our rescues and ensure they go to forever homes.

We also help train exotic RSPCA inspectors every year and run multiple educational courses each month – check out our events page to learn more.
